3. Founder-friendly SAFE investments: Secure up to $100,000 in startup funding through Simple Agreement for Future Equity (SAFE) investments with no cap and no discount. Current students don’t qualify for funding. Ability to request for higher amounts is also possible.

The fellowship investment is into companies with founders that completed work / graduated from MIT. Current students don’t qualify for the investment fellowship.

The program does not preclude you from participating in other investment or non-investment programs either before, during or after your participation. In fact, we encourage you to explore other programs on campus such as Sandbox, Delta V, DesignX, VMS and the many other amazing resources available to you. If you’d like, we could help recommend some for your own situation.

The Fellowship Investment, is designed to be most founder friendly. We believe that at this very early stage of the business, putting a valuation or a valuation cap is not fair to the founders. Therefore, our fellowship SAFE investments are made at no-cap and no-discount.
